We live in a time with information overload and frankly, it isn't going to slow down. From the moment we wake up until the time we fall asleep, we are bombarded with headlines, emails, tweets, Facebook posts, you name it. In some ways, we are more informed than ever. But in many ways, we are just snacking on content, much of it forgettable and irrelevant. We are not digesting enough depth or perspective we need to make informed decisions.

The Front Porch Movement connects you with stories from diverse people- stories that inform, inspire and help us better understand one another. One friend calls our work "interesting and intelligent" and points out that "This is amazing. This is human. This is how people are feeling." She believes what we're doing here can move people, that it can turn hope around and bring hope to America. "In your way, you can change the world. You'll move people, change people, and instigate better community engagement."
